1. Risk Notes. Frans Minnaar post his conclusions about risks identified in current news events. This category is open to all site visitors. The posts on this category can be regarded as Frans Minnaar's viewpoints (results of assessment) about current and unfolding risks.
2. Analyses. This category contains posts about the current situation, based on an analysis of contemporary news items. This includes Geopolitics, National Politics, Socio-Economic conditions and Government assessments. The category also contains posts with the results of Frans Minnaar’s analyses of government policies, including government regulation and selective laws.
3. Enterprise. This category includes posts with the results of analyses into the purpose, functioning, strengths and weakness of government, - not for-profit and private enterprises. In its broader application, this category also include posts about the management and organizing of enterprises.
Frans Minnaar posts the results of analyses on the Site Blog, and (in video format) on the Videos platform.

Frans Minnaar offers data indicators and data trends. Frans summarized quantitative data (mostly statistics, budgets and personnel numbers) and qualitative information (opinions, judgements) from reputable resources, including Statistics South Africa and the statistical bureaus of other countries, other reputable statistics providers, academic institutions, government agencies and global research institutions. Data used and analyzed include:
1. Political indicators, including election results, polls and surveys.
2. Socio-economic data, including GDP, poverty, - and a magnitude of other social – and economic indicators.
3.  Governance indicators, including budget budgets and public personnel; (and many more).
Datasets are mostly made available as downloads on the Blog, or through the File Share page.

Online Programs

Frans Minneer post what he labelled as “Online Programs”. These are postings that provide technical information, guidelines and tools that are supportive to the analyses conducted and presented on the website.
Two examples of online programs will be as follow:
(1) The theme (and governance application) of Enterprise Risk Management is mentioned (or implied) continuously through the analytical contents of the website. This is resulting from the fact that the contents deal comp0rehensively with the management of risks.
In response to this practicality, guidelines about the theory, process and practice of Enterprise Risk Management will be posted as an online program. The articles included on the program may be supplemented by tools, such as presentation, spreadsheets or templates.
(2) Legalization such as the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and the Labour Relations Act are posted as online programs. The legislation per se is not a core element of the analyses offered by Frans Minnaar, but an understanding thereof will be useful (and important) to site visitors and subscribers to ensure compliance (which is part of managing enterprise risks).
Programs are presented in a “learning format”; that is, articles and other contents are supplemented by questions and checklists that promote understanding and self-assessment.
The contents of online programs are partly written by Frans Minnaar, and partly reprinted from sources that allow the use of their contents in terms of relaxed or relinquished copyright terms (although the tools, such as presentations and spreadsheets, are mostly developed by Frans Minnaar).
