The following processes and methodologies are applied during the assessment:
1. Effectiveness is assessed by comparing the actual targets achieved in respect of the organisation’s core outcomes (expressed in its strategic objectives) with the performance targets set during the planning period.
2. Efficiency is assessed by analysing the organisational systems and structures on a rating scale of 5-1; with 5 implying full efficiency and 1 extremely poor efficiency.
3. Economy is assessed by analysing the resources required to operate the organisational processes required to operate systems; which, in turn, is required to perform the activities that must implement the selected strategies.
Reports generated:
The spreadsheet generates the following reports as part of the assessment process:
