Planning and Resourcing template

The purpose with this template is to linked performance targets emanating from a business’s strategic plan to its resources (employee, material and services). The template provides an organisation performance scorecard and a tool to assess capacity and risks.

The template allows the user to identify and record risks, using the SWOT analysis and enterprise risk management methodology. The user can also align each of the identified environmental conditions and events to the elements of the PEST analysis.

Follow the guidelines on the template, in a step-by-step manner, to make sure that all inputs are accounted for. The template makes provision for the user to capture:

-- Cash flow periods in the current planning and budgeting cycle.

-- The long-term goals of the enterprise.

-- Smart objectives.

The template allows the user to formulate strategies, and link it to organisational activities and resources. Through the costing of these resources, a budget based on the requirements of the strategic plan can then be compiled.

The template can be used to assess actual achievements against the quarterly targets captured.
