Frans Minnaar promotes the following aims in his commentary: (1) Constitutional Equality and Pluralism; (2) Economic Freedom, and (3) Good Governance.

White South Africans, Opinion and Transformation
The divide in the South African White population about Apartheid and race laws; transformation and redress, is more or less cast in stone. This was actually always the case; with “always”, I mean since Unification of the country in 1910. It’s about worldviews, and the worldviews of most White South Africans are fixed.

The 5th National General Council
The ANC cadres are not the excellent creators they believe themselves to be; they are destroyers. They contaminate everything they touch. They have turned South Africa into a mafia state, a failed state. And they are still at it.

The Discrimination Settlement
Discrimination in SA has its roots in the Constitution, and its interpretation, and are increasingly not been traced back, or derived from, the balance in opposing worldviews reached during the Codesa negotiated settlement, but in the ideological roots of one side of the historic conflict; that is, to the Freedom Charter, and the National Democratic Revolution. The Constitution is, practically and judicially, read as extensions of revolutionary theory.

The Odds of Europe siding with SA against the US
I don’t think that the ANC and its allies must depend too much on support from Europe for an anti-American rebellion in the G20. Don’t look to Europe to support South African in a large-scale boycotting of the G20 in the United States until Trump agrees to the demands of the Comrades.

No, SA cannot survive US sanctions unscaled
It is very dangerous to say "We don't need the United States"; "if they want to, let them sanction us."
Let's look at three examples of countries that have been actively sanctioned by the USA in the post-WW2 history.

"The Firm": South Africa's Governing Oligarchy
The ANC is a mafia-type Firm, with the oligarchy inner-circle exercising power, and monopolizing wealth.

Ramaphosa stays or go: No difference, really
It will make no difference if Ramaphosa should go now; he never was an asset to good governance and development. Ramaphosa was a loyal ANC cadre, nothing more, and nothing less. Like all ANC cadres, his real purpose was self-enrichment, for him, his friends and family. In this, he succeeded.

South Africa’s generation of brilliant tenderpreneurs
The Leaders of Our People, the only Society that matters, are already busy extending BBBEE rules to all sectors of the economy. The Expropriation Without Compensation Act has been based. Not long, and the racists land thieves will be kicked off the land of our ancestors – and I will be a farm owner. As a beneficiary of the Redress Laws, I will extend my brilliant and innovative business practices to the private sector.

Floyd Shivambu, and the icons of South African politics
The populist icons of South African politics have enormous egos; all believing that they are greater than the Ideas they are proposing. Some actually are; some not. However, none of them are bigger than perception.

Daar is geen visie, anders as eiebelang nie

Education in South Africa; It's not only broken, its racist, a pot of gold for looting and an ideological war-zone
SETAs, SAQA, accreditation, NSFAS. The South African educational system has created bags full of money that have became cesspools of corruption and looting, while competencies and skills have deteriorated into the gutters.

Academia
My problem with the current academic model is that there is seemingly very little relationship between effort and result. Academics’ performance is not assessed in terms of their ability to get students (learners) ready for the world of work. In the model that QS World University Rankings use to rank universities, only 10% of the assessment weight is allocated to reputation among prospective employers.

Haatspraak: Die dubbele standaarde

Is the "suspended" ideological fight now on again?
What’s going on with Ramaphosa and Donald Trump’s behaviour towards South Africa? Why is the delegation Ramaphosa has promises to send to the United States to “provide accurate information” about the expropriation act and race laws of the country not getting off the ground?

"Redress": Level 1 BBBEE compliance is destroying the country
Level 1 BBBEE. Beautiful; it simply means you discriminate 100% against White South Africans.
